I am sorry Jody and I never reconnected after he left our company in the mid 80's. Ours was the first for him in the business. I had some old film of him and I that I restored and transferred. We had made this little movie together when we were 12. We did the play "Mash" in high school and I have some 8 x 10's of that. I hadn't talked to Jody in many years, but a few months ago I thought he might like copies of all these things. It was only then I learned of his passing. I guess I was the last to know. Now I think about him often. We were best friends once.

Jody once gave me the credit for mentoring him for his AHC, but all the credit goes to him. He was always a man of extreme determination, pride and integrity.
I will miss his friendship.

I was a childhood friend of Jody's. Since before Kindergarten. His earthly birthday is in a couple of days. I can remember going to see 101 Dalmations for his birthday one year. Not the re-make, but the original animated version. We grew up together. School , scouts, ball games, and races at Ascot. He and I got our first jobs together. We were probably ten or eleven years old and his dad used to pay us to pull weeds at his Texaco station in Duarte.
Jody I wish that I would have known you as an adult. Now I know why I never heard from you once you contacted me on Facebook in October. You opened up a boat load of treasured childhood memories. My prayers are with you and your family. I will see you in Heaven and you can tell me what went on in your life for the past thirty plus years that I missed. I can tell you are loved by a lot of people and that is the greatest treasure of all.

As long as I've been dealing with Jody (decades!), he was ALWAYS the go-to guy. His industry knowledge made him an invaluable resource and his wonderful optimistic personality and can-do attitude made him just great to work, chat with, spend a little time with over lunch.
Becky (& all), I'm sorry for your loss; Jody will be missed.

I had the privilege of getting to know Jody when he transitioned into the position at AHS. We seemed to “hit it off” from day one. It didn’t take long for the discussion to move to a personal level. I recall being so impressed at the strength of his faith, and his willingness to share how blessed he felt to be able to work with the friends. I will always remember him fondly as a friend with a caring and gentle spirit about him.

My heartfelt prayers are with Becky and family. I pray that God pours out “His” peace, the peace that surpasses all understanding, on you in this time of great loss.

Jody my friend, you will be missed… Until we meet again!

While I'd only had the pleasure of knowing Jody for a few years, he was one of those people who left an imprint that will never be duplicated. He was dedicated to his work, his family, and his life, that it seemed he found was an ongoing opportunity to enrich the lives of all those who had the honor to know him.

I will miss Jody. I truly hope that there will be some comfort to all who knew him in knowing that his life, and the joy and he took in living it were a reflection and a reminder of what he taught us. Every day is an opportunity to give something good of yourself. Make a difference, no matter how small it seems, it all counts! Don't let life live you, live life.

A true gentlemen and kind spirited individual was Jody. Our office had a special relationship with Jody during the past few years. He always displayed a most professional demeanor when dealing with our customers and staff. Just a few days before his passing, he was in my office smiling and bragging about his family... May he rest in peace.

I worked in the territory next to Jody's. We spoke every day, sometimes multiple times. He was a good friend and co-worker. He lived his faith and touched many people. Not a day goes by when I don't think of him. We will miss his smile and his caring spirit.

I only worked with Jody for a couple of months, while he was replacing me, but we became fast friends. I am only one of many who will miss him, and I will miss him sorely. A wonderful guy, a good family man, God will have to build a new wing to house that big smile and huge heart.

When Jody was hired it was evident how much enthusiasm he brought to his job. The more I got to know him; I came to understand how passionate he was for life. What a great example for us that knew him. He will be sorely missed.

I only had the pleasure of meeting Jody a few times as I didn't require the attention of my rep too often. I was always pleased and impressed when we did interact with his product knowledge and willingness to go the extra mile for me. My father always said that if you could die with 2 or 3 true friends that you were rich; by this measure, Jody was an extremely wealthy man. Our best wishes and hopes for the future go to his family.
